Executive Coaching
For founders, CEOs, and product executives
I coach founders and CEOs through the hardest parts of building and scaling. Coaching with me is a confidential, ongoing partnership. You bring the real stuff: the decisions keeping you up at night, the team dynamics nobody else sees, the questions you can't ask in a board meeting. I bring operating experience, an outside perspective from working with 100+ founders and executives, and empathy and support to help you think clearly and move with conviction.
I use four levers as the foundation for how we work together. They give us a common language to diagnose where you are, focus where it matters most, and track progress over time.
🧭 01 — Clarity
Clarity isn’t just having a strategy, it’s communicating it so crisply that everyone on the team can repeat it.
Clarity starts with vision and purpose, then goes deep on strategy:
Why you exist and what problem you address
Who (precisely) your customer is and how you delight them
How you differentiate in the market and build power against competitors
How you measure progress (the CEO or product executive dashboard)
How you make money
How you allocate resources to win
Setting a solid strategy is hard, but it’s only the first 10%. The next 90% is running a persistent internal marketing campaign to get the whole team to understand it and rally behind it. We also discuss personal clarity. What does success truly look like for you as a person? This anchors everything we do.
♟️ 02 — Team
Building a great team goes far beyond recruiting, it’s an end-to-end discipline.
Defining what you actually need: skills, not resumes or logos
Sourcing, assessing, and selling candidates who are in high demand
Onboarding and grafting new leaders so they stick
Building and managing your board
Getting the best advisors around you
Building trust, cadence, and collaboration across the leadership team
Diagnosing team health across a team’s velocity, prioritization, trust, and quality of output
The best individual performers don't automatically become a high-performing team. It takes intentional design and some blood, sweat, and tears.
This is where some of the hardest personal decisions live. When to move on from a loyal early employee who's hit their ceiling. Whether your co-founder is still the right partner. How to lead people who used to be your peers. These conversations need a confidential space, not a boardroom.
⚙️ 03 — Systems
A scaling company runs on four systems that all need to work together.
Customers: the end-to-end journey from acquisition to retention, where the friction points are, and how you earn trust
Cash: revenue, margin, burn, and the financial dashboards that let you make decisions with confidence
Technology: your tech stack, architecture decisions, data, and how you invest in your technology to generate a sustainable edge
People operations: org design, communication patterns, meeting cadence, how information flows, and how decisions get made
When these systems are humming, the output of one meeting is the input to the next. You're not reacting, you're running the business on an operating rhythm. When the flywheel clicks, you can feel it.
There is often a tension between your personal talents, background, and comfort zone, and where the business needs you most. That is something we can work through together so you can drive outlier results, even outside your current comfort zone, but also lean into what makes you great.
☀️ 04 — Energy
On every flight they tell you to put your oxygen mask on first before assisting others. Entrepreneurs forget this.
My clients frequently tell me the same thing: "I'll get back to taking care of myself in six months when this problem is solved." But there's always another problem. Another six months. And another.
Energy management is not about finding balance, but about being sustainable so you can show up at your best day after day:
Sleep, nutrition, and exercise
Mental state and emotional resilience
Managing your calendar and attention as strategic assets
Knowing when to sprint and when to rest
Preparing for high-stakes moments: board meetings, fundraises, M&A, difficult conversations
Recognizing burnout and shifting the tide
Most founders try to be the superhero who skips the rest. But anyone who's done high-intensity interval training knows that powering through without rest doesn't make you stronger. It breaks you down and makes you weaker.
The goal is to design a life where you can do this for the next ten years with the same creative energy that got you here. That starts with being honest about where you are right now. We’ll talk about this and help craft minor adjustments and forcing functions in your schedule to change your state. It’s not magic, it’s typically reorganizing 30 to 60 minutes per day and it might change your life.

“Keith has been instrumental in helping me elevate my leadership as a CEO. As a founder himself, he brings a unique empathy and depth of understanding to every conversation… His coaching sharpened my ability to communicate with clarity and conviction, especially in high-stakes conversations with investors. He’s also been an invaluable connector, facilitating introductions that expanded Clinch’s investor network and accelerated our fundraising journey. I’d strongly recommend Keith to any CEO or founder looking to strengthen their leadership and executive communication.”

"It was clear from our first meeting that Keith wasn’t an armchair coach. He’s been in the arena. As a seasoned product leader, he understood the realities of operating in fast-growing environments and the mix of ambition, accountability, and burnout that often comes with it. What I valued most was his ability to bring clarity and perspective. He helped me recalibrate expectations of myself and of the company, set healthy boundaries, and reconnect with what I actually wanted from my career. That work had a lasting impact."
